This weekend, Cremona Musica International Exhibitions 2017 launches ‘Play and improvise with…’, an open stage for musicians wanting to duet with classical and jazz stars.
Israeli pianist, Itamar Golan, and Italian jazz pianists, Umberto Petrin, Enrico Pieraninzi and Danilo Rea, will share their musical approaches with students in a series of piano workshops while Russian-American pianist, Inna Faliks, Head of the University of Los Angeles’ Piano Department, will host a piano masterclass.
Inna Faliks made her debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and has worked with conductors such as Leonard Slatkin and Keith Lockhart. A winner of the ProMusicis International Award, she has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages including Carnegie Hall’s Weill Concert Hall, Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Hall, LA’s Zipper Hall and the Beijing CPA.
Cremona Musica International Exhibitions plays host to four instrumental exhibitions over the weekend of 29 September-1 October 2017:
