We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic piano teacher to join this exceptional department.
Bryanston’s Music Department is a fantastic place to work with a team of 52 staff. We are newly housed within the Tom Wheare Music School with exceptional studio/recording facilities; it is a purpose-built and award-winning facility which opened in October 2014.
The successful applicant will have some teaching experience and the ability to teach some jazz piano could be an advantage, but is not essential.
Required for September 2017.
The Teacher shall receive a salary based on an annual salary equivalent to a standard £604.20 per pupil for 30 lessons per year.
The rate per lesson is £17.98 to which is added a pro rata holiday entitlement of 5.6 weeks, equivalent to £2.16 giving a combined rate of £20.14, which equates to £201.40 per pupil per term, £604.20 per pupil per year, or £34.53 per hour. This will be identified separately on your pay slip.
If the number of pupils taught drops below 5, then the rate will be £674.10 per pupil for 30 lessons per year.
